Salsa & Beer: The Ultimate Mexican Beer Bar Experience in LA

No seats on the waiting area. Luckily we didn't have to wait to long to be seated. The service is really good. The waitress are coming back asking you if you need anything else. Not sure if there is a designated room for private parties. When I was there, there was a group seating right next to us very, very, very loud. I almost raised my voice to be heard by the other person I was with. Its is located on a very high traffic blvd. Vehicle drive to fast. The parking is on a lot next to it. You have to really know the entry or be really careful to prevent been hit by the traffic behind you when you are coming in or by the upcoming traffic when you are getting out.

It was our first time there, and it came highly recommended. The food was so delicious, and the tropical margaritas were amazing!! We are already planning to go back again very soon!

This place is wild. Huge portions and not a discount Mexican spot. You are here for some hunger satisfying food. Delicious and I always get the vegetarian burrito then add chicken. The fajitas are huge and so are the margs. Always leave with leftovers.

Reason for visiting: dinner with the homie, been a while Date/time of visit: Thursday night, ~8:00 PM Parking: there's lot parking and street parking; parking lot is tight so big SUVs probably not a good idea. There's some street parking but not much. All free. Party size: 2 Environment/ambience: busy and loud; it was raining so was surprised it was so crowded. I assume for Thursday Night football and NBA season. Looks small from the outside but once inside, it's huge. Bar area with restaurant seating; we sat in a section with no TVs but there other sections near TVs. No sound for the game. Service: was good; she came around often and was friendly. Self serve salsa bar. Food: had the Steak Fajitas with a Michelada with Modelo. Everything was good; huge portions so had leftover for lunch the next day. Complimentary chips with bean dip was ok. Cost: $95 with tip; there's different pricing if you pay with cash (I paid with credit card); I think it's like $3-$5 cheaper. Would I go back (yes/no): 75/25; parking can seem to be a hassle

Parking is tough, do recommend making reservations and getting there early. Had a party of 11 and were served quickly and efficiently. Plenty of helpers to help our hostess. All the food was delicious. Hot and tasty. They have asada fries! Adult drinks were good too.

Had a chance to go to the small gem in North Hollywood. I'm used to going to the one on Sherman Way. It is small but very nice in here atmosphere food and service was awesome, especially the food. Thank you for the great experience will come back . I recommend it.

I absolutely LOVE this place! Salsa & Beer is my fave Mexican restaurant in my neighborhood and I've brought friend groups and family here, and they love it! Even a friend who is vegan and has dietary restrictions was able to find great food; they even made a special guacamole for her without dairy. It was so kind of the staff to work with her. I always get the garlic shrimp and it never disappoints.
